Since I severed ties with teacherhosting.com last spring, and I no longer have an external website (although my online course is as vital as ever), I need an outlet for my curricular ruminations; hence; another attempt at web logging. I think I have had problems with blogging because 1) they are too much a self-conscious kind of writing; 2) I don’t really know who my audience is; and 3) there is something frighteningly vulnerable about posting your ideas on the http://www. Of course, these are the very issues my students face in their own writing. In any event, regardless of these issues, I will write on. One final note: the header is from one of my photographs of calle Mesones in San Miguel de Allende. We spent four weeks there this summer studying espanol a Academia Hispano Americano.
