It took us (me) a couple of days to get everything packed. I must have packed and repacked the Zuca ten times before I figured out, finally, how to pack it light! I’ve got the SLR camera gear, including my ulta-lit weight tripod, stowed in my gear back pack. It holds everything we will need to do some serious photography. We’ll be posting the pics once we get to Mexico City, which 
will be tomorrow afternoon. We’ll get in to the airport around 4:00 in the afternoon, tomar un taxi to the hotel, then rest up a bit in our hotel room before exploring the neighborhood for a good restaurant for cena. For tonight, we won’t be getting much sleep; gotta get up a 2 in the am to get ready to catch our Mexico City flight that leaves at 5:30 in the morning (via Seattle).
Tonight we’re staying at the aloft, an ultra techno modern hotel at Cascade Station. The rooms are very comfortable and architecturally unusual. We got the room for 50 bucks a night, thanks to Jackie’s skill for ferreting out superior hotel room rates on the internet.
